Writing: Trout with Celery Stuffing

This story began with a dream. I dreamt that I was sitting in a restaurant and a waiter placed a meal in front of me that I had not ordered. As soon as I recalled the dream, on waking, it struck me as richly metaphorical. I felt compelled to use the image in a short story. The rest of the story I simply constructed around this one idea as I went along.

The following day, I did a few edits, as shown in the following file. Since the story is largely dialogue, there was little to edit:
